Statute Summary

NY VAT § 211 - Continuity of authority 211. Continuity of authority. The department of motor vehicles shall be deemed to constitute a continuation of the powers and duties of the bureau of motor vehicles in the department of taxation and finance and not a new authority for the purpose of succession to the rights, powers and duties and obligations hereby assigned to the department.
