Maryland Transportation Code Section 22-225 (2023) - Alternate Road-Lighting Equipment Any motor vehicle may be operated under the conditions specified in § 22–201.1 of this subtitle when equipped with two lighted lamps on its front capable of revealing persons and objects 75 feet ahead instead of lamps required in § 22–222 or § 22–224 of this subtitle, provided, however, that at no time may it be operated at a speed in excess of 20 miles per hour....
