Maryland Transportation Code Section 13-502 (2023) - Transferee Must Secure New Registration (a) Except as otherwise permitted in this subtitle, before the transferee of a registered vehicle may drive a vehicle on a highway, the transferee shall apply for and obtain a new registration of the vehicle, as on an original registration.
