Statute Summary

22-2609.Property taken in one county and brought into another.When property taken in one county by theft or robbery has been brought into another county, the venue is in either county. 1. Conviction under 21-3701 and 21-3711 upheld; venue proper under 22-2609. State v. Stoops, 4 Kan. App. 2d 130, 131, 603 P.2d 221. 2. Prosecution for act proved in prior prosecution in another county barred under 21-3108 if both counties had venue. State v. Mahlandt, 231 Kan. 665, 668, 669, 647 P.2d 1307 (1982)
