Statute Summary

22-2510.When search warrant may be executed.A search warrant may be executed at any time of any day or night. Section was also amended by L. 2022, ch. 78, § 5, but that version was repealed by L. 2022, ch. 92, § 9. 1. Although K.S.A. 22-2510 permits execution of search warrants at any time, it is not a blanket exception to reasonable searches and is constitutional. State v. Shively, 26 Kan. App. 2d 302, 309, 987 P.2d 1119 (1999).
