Statute Summary

21-6710.Fines; crimes committed prior to July 1, 1993.(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), a person who has been convicted of a felony may, in addition to or instead of the imprisonment authorized by law, be sentenced to pay a fine which shall be fixed by the court as follows: (1) For a class B or C felony, a sum not exceeding $15,000.
