Statute Summary

21-5834.Sale of recut or regrooved tires.(a) Sale of recut or regrooved tires is the sale, offer to sell or exposure for sale of any passenger vehicle tire which the person knows to have been recut or regrooved, or the sale, offer to sell or exposure for sale of any passenger vehicle equipped with any tire which is known to have been recut or regrooved. (b) Sale of recut or regrooved tires is a class B nonperson misdemeanor. (1) "Recut or regrooved tire" means an unretreated or unrecapped tire
