21-5826.Destroying a written instrument.(a) Destroying a written instrument is tearing, cutting, burning, erasing, obliterating or destroying a written instrument, in whole or in part, with intent to defraud. (b) Destroying a written instrument is a severity level 9, nonperson felony.
