(730 ILCS 150/1) (from Ch. 38, par. 221) Sec. 1. Short title. This Article may be cited as the Sex Offender Registration Act. (Source: P.A. 89-8, eff. 1-1-96.) (730 ILCS 150/10.9) Sec. 10.9. Severability. If a provision or application of this Article is held to be invalid with respect to any person or class of persons, that invalidity does not affect other persons or classes of persons whose registration obligations can be given effect without the invalid provision or application.
