(730 ILCS 110/0.01) (from Ch. 38, par. 204-1a.9) Sec. 0.01. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Probation and Probation Officers Act. (Source: P.A. 86-1324.) Before entering upon the duties of his or her office, each probation officer shall take and subscribe to an oath before the Chief Judge of his or her circuit or his or her designee to support the constitution and laws of the United States and of the State of Illinois, and faithfully to perform the duties of his or her office.
