JUDICIAL DECISIONS Effect of failure to appear. - Ga. L. 1966, p. 381, § 10 (see now O.C.G.A. § 40-13-55 ) does not convert bond forfeiture into criminal convictions, but merely establishes that in the event of a failure to appear in court, the bond will be forfeited and the failure construed as an admission of guilt.
