Consent to General Searches Test of consent is totality of circumstances. - Test as to whether or not consent to search was freely given is the "totality of the circumstances" under Schneckloth v. Bustamonte, 412 U.S. 218, 93 S. Ct. 2041 , 36 L. Ed. 2 d 854 (1973) and United States v. Scott, 578 F.2d 1186 (6th Cir.), cert. denied, 439 U.S. 870, 99 S. Ct. 201 , 58 L. Ed. 2 d 182 (1978). Mooney v. State, 243 Ga. 373 , 254 S.E.2d 337 , cert. denied, 444 U.S. 886, 100 S. Ct. 179 , 62 L. Ed. 2 d 116 (1979).
