16-10-7. False acknowledgments, certificates, or statements of appearance or oath by officer authorized to do same. Any officer authorized to administer oaths or to take and certify acknowledgments who knowingly makes a false acknowledgment, certificate, or statement concerning the appearance before him or the taking of an oath or affirmation by any person is guilty of a misdemeanor.
