Effect of 1989 amendment on fingerprinting requirements. - When O.C.G.A. § 16-10-25 , as amended, provides that a person who gives a law enforcement officer a false date of birth, as well as a false name or address, has committed a misdemeanor, and when the previous version of this offense had previously been designated as an offense for which those charged with a violation were to be fingerprinted the statutory amendment presents no reason for that designation to be withdrawn.
