183.0SMOKING POLICY

A.SMOKING POLICY
The Florida Clean Air Act prohibits smoking in government buildings such as ours. In
addition, the Police Department has a vested interest in providing a clean and healthy
work environment for all employees.
Smoking is prohibited in all Police Buildings and in all Police Vehicles.
B.ENFORCEMENT AND DISCIPLINE
1.Managers and supervisors are responsible for seeing that this policy is strictly
adhered to.
2.Any employee who violates this policy will be subject to disciplinary action.
