POLICY 168.0ROBBERY - ARMED (In-progress) REVISED: 11/2011 RELATED POLICIES: Reviewed by Chief David Magnusson 4/2019 A.An officer dispatched to an "in-progress" robbery will respond as quickly and safely as possible. B.The first unit in the area of the "in-progress" robbery will, as quickly and with the least amount of self-exposure as possible, take up a point of observation and relay pertinent information to other responding units. 1.Unless the first officer perceives immediate danger to the victim, he will wait for additional units before moving in. C.If the apparent victim exits the business or residence, the officer, at his discretion and while using extreme caution, may move in unless otherwise directed by a road supervisor. Page 1 of 1
