POLICY 152.0BURGLARY AUTO REVISED: 11/2011 RELATED POLICIES: Reviewed by Chief David Magnusson 4/2019 A.The owner of the vehicle shall be the primary victim on the report. If other occupants other than the owner’s immediate family suffer a loss as a result of the burglary, they shall be listed as subsequent victims. Reporters of the burglary, i.e. drivers that are not the owners and not suffering losses shall be listed as "other". B.All pertinent information regarding the vehicle, that is the subject of the attack, will be listed. If a description of the suspect’s vehicle is obtained, the information will be listed as the first paragraph of the supplement of the report. C.Target vehicles will be processed. If a supervisor determines that the processing needs are beyond that capability of on duty personnel, the Chief of Police or his/her designee will be notified. Page 1 of 1
