A. When this Department is notified of an animal bite, the victim shall be advised to contact
the Miami- Dade County Health Department. All reporting and investigating of animal
bites are the responsibility of the Health Department and Animal Control shall be
contacted to respond to conduct an investigation and cited the violator. A CCIN will be
issued if it is determined there is a violation of Sec 4.1-4.9 of the El Portal Ordenances.
