8.5 Records: Operations
8.5.11 Recording Arrest Information (Issued: 6/25/07)
In accordance with General Order 4.6.4, “Adult Custody Procedures,” an arrest report shall be
completed for every arrest, including physical arrests on traffic offenses. The report shall
contain the facts supporting the probable cause to arrest, surrounding the arrest, and the
processing of the suspect. The report will be as complete as possible. Fingerprints and booking
photographs will be taken on al l suspects that are booked by UCSF Police Department.
