8.5 Records: Operations
8.5.4 Names to Be Included in the Master Index (Revised : 6/8/20 )
A. The ECC maintains an automated RMS master name index file which consists of the
names of the following individuals:
1. Victims
2. Complainants
3. Suspects
4. Persons arrested
5. Witnesses
6. Other involved persons .
B. Computer entry of this information is generated when employees enter reports into RMS.
C. To avoid duplicate and inaccurate names , employees should enter the actual name of the
person or the CAD precursor to the name that restricts it from the database.
