8.5.3 Alphabetical Master Name Index (Revised: 7/18/18)
The Records section maintains an automated RMS master name index file (Global Subject
Search) which includes the names of persons identified in incident reports, arrest reports, traffic
crash reports, traffic citations and field interviews . This serves as a cross -reference to all
documents in which a person has been named.
