University of California, San Francisco Police Department General Orders 8.2 Communications: Operations 8.2.17 Accepting and Delivering Emergency Messages (Issued: 6/25/07) A. Calls for emergency notification from citizens or outside agencies will be handled as calls for service. B. All calls will be prioritized and dispatched per general order criteria. C. All death notifications will be made in person by an officer , with a follow -up call made to the agency/individual requesting the notification with confirmation of the notification.
