8.1 Communications: Administration
8.1.7 Reviewing Recorded Conversations (Revised: 5/23/23 )
A. Information retained on the audio log recorder can be reviewed by the TSD Director ,
Lead Dispatcher and Evidence and Records Technicians.
B. A non -urgent request to review recorded information should be made in writing and
directed to the TSD Director .
C. Urgent information may be played back immediately or copied, but only upon request by
a Watch Commander, Lieutenant, Captain or the Chief.
D. Information may be released to the public for a fee. All such requests shall be in writing
and are subject to review and approval by the TSD Director or Evidence and Records
Technician s.
