8.1 Communications: Administration

The UCSF Police Department’s Emergency Communications Center (ECC) (9 -1-1) is part of the
Technical Services Division ( TSD). The unit is staffed by Public Safety Dispatchers and a Lead
Public Safety D ispatcher and supervised by the TSD Director .
The Department employs several computer systems , including a Computer Aided Dispatch
(CAD) system and Records Management System (RMS).
