6.4 Public Information and Community Relations
6.4.1 Policy (Issued: 6/25/07)
In the interest of open communication and timely distribution of police -related information to the
community, the Department will utilize media, newsletters, bulletins, annual and periodic reports
and other means to disseminate information to the public. The Department strives to establish
binding ties with the community and to keep the lines of communication open.
