5.15.1 Organized Crime, Vice and Narcotics Philosophy (Issued: 6/25/07)
The UCSF Police Department is committed to the investigation, identification and suppression of
known or suspected vice, narcotics and organized crime activities. Although it is the
responsibility of each member of the Police Department to identify and prevent these activities,
the Investigations Unit has the specific responsibility fo r identifying, controlling, reducing and
preventing vice, narcotics and organized crime activities.
