4.21 Prisoner Transportation: Transport Equipment
4.21.2 Vehicle Modifications (Issued: 6/25/07)
In order to minimize opportunities for prisoners to escape the transport vehicle, all prisoner
transport compartments shall be modified so that all door and window controls inside the
prisoner transport compartment are inoperable. All doors and windows for this compartment
shall be operable only from the driver compartment or from outside the vehicle.
