4.20 Prisoner Transportation: Special Transport Situations
4.20.9 Special Situations Transport (Issue d: 2/6/25 )
The UCSF Police Department does not transport prisoners or detainees to events or locations
where they would have extraordinary opportunies for unauthorized personal contact, es cape or
inflict ing injury on themselves or others, including funerals, readings of a will and hospital or
hospice visits. The San Francisco Sheriff’s Department transport s detainees in such speecial
situations.
