University of California, San Francisco Police Department General Orders 4.9 Juventile Operations: Oganization and Administration 4.9.1 Commitment (Revised: 6/04/08) The UC Police Department is committed to the development and perpetuation of programs directed to the prevention and control of juvenile delinquency. The Police Department’s role in these programs will be reflective of, and consistent with, community need s and expectations regarding juvenile issues. Although UCSF does not have a sizable juvenile population, there is an expectation that all sworn personnel handle juveniles in a manner consistent with the policy of the Police Department, California laws and statutes.
