University of California, San Francisco Police Department General Orders 1 4.5 Patrol: Organization and Administration 4.5.11 Radio Call Numbers /Signs (Revised: 11/30/22 ) A radio call numbering system is assigned to identify and permit communication with members of the Police Department over the police radio. Officers are assigned a UCSF Police Department call number that corresponds to the employee’s last two digits of their UCSF Police badge number. All other personnel call numbers are assigned according to the member’s rank and/or division/unit assign ment. The UCSF Police Department call numbers are a series of numbers and are assigned as follows: Position UCPD Call Number Chief of Police A1 Captains A2 through A 3 Lieutenants L1 through L9 Sergeants S10 through S20 Police Officers UC10 through UC100 ECC Dispatchers D1 through D40 Security Manager SM1 Security Supervisor SG11 through SG20 Public Safety Ambassadors G21 through G100 Health Safety Ambassadors P1 through P100.
