University of California, San Francisco Police Department General Orders 3.36 Training: Non -sworn Employee Training 3.36.1 Training Requirements for Newly Appointed Non -sworn Personnel (Issued: 6/25/07) A. All newly appointed non -sworn personnel will participate in an orientation program introducing them to the Department. The orientation program will consist of separate discussions with the Chief of Police and Division Managers. B. The orientation program will include: 1. The Department’s role, purpose, goals, policies and procedures, 2. An overview of Divisio n and Department responsibilities and projects, and 3. Working conditions, rules and regulations. C. UCSF Human Resources will conduct “New Employee Orientation and Welcome” that includes personnel rules, employee rights, benefits, etc.
