University of California, San Francisco Police Department General Orders 3.33 Training: Recruit Training 3.33.3 Job Task Analysis -Based Recruit Training (Issued: 6/25/07) A. Recruit training will include a curriculum based on the job -task analysis of the most frequent assignments of officers. B. Recruit training will include the use of evaluation techniques designed to measure competency in the required skills, knowledge, and abilities such as practical exercises, written tests, and field observation. C. The minimum length and intensity of training will be based on in formation from the job - task analysis as measured by competency -based testing determined by the training academy being attended.
