3.24 Selection: Professional and Legal Requirements
3.24.8 Participant Diversity (Revised : 2/2/11 )
Personnel participating in any recruitment and selection shall be qualified and adequately
instructed prior to carrying out their respective recruitment -related task. In accordance with
General Order 3.17.6, “Involvement of Agency Minority Personnel,” recruitment and selection
participants will be representative of the diversity of the Police Department and the community
served wherever possibl e.
