University of California, San Francisco Police Department General Orders 3.22 Recruitment: Job Announcements and Publicity 3.22.1 Job Announcements (Revised: 7/18/18) The FAS HRSC will work with the Police Department to advertise positions in the most cost - effective manner. All positions will be advertised locally and posted inte rnally within the University. P SD staff will collaborate with the FAS HRSC to create the advertisement, market the positions from pertinent information received from the Police Department and according to the Police Department’s needs such as: A. Requisite skills B. Required duties and responsibilities C. Training and education D. Previous experience E. The need for diversity as determined by the Police Department annual work force analysis (described in General Order Section 3.4, “Allocatio n and Distribution of Personnel”) and the UCSF Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Program (with assistance of the Office of Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity/Diversity, as required) F. Community needs.
