3.19 Recruitment: Community Outreach
3.19.2 Community Job Announcements (Revised : 2/2/11)
As a normal part of advertising job vacancies or job openings, the Police Department direct -
mails job announcements to community service and educational organizations that can assist in
bringing qualified candidates to the hiring processes. These local or regional organizations
include, but are not limited to:
A. Community job fairs
B. UCSF Human Resource Department
C. State and community coll eges and police academies
D. Peace Officer Research Association of California
E. Peace Officer Standard and Training
F. University of California Police Departments
G. Other agencies or groups, as identified.
