University of California, San Francisco Police Department General Orders 1 3.16 Disciplinary Procedures 3.16.8 Appeals Procedure (Revised: 2/4/20 ) All appeals to disciplinary actions shall be handled in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements and the PPSM. Personnel may appeal disciplinary actions as referenced in the following University documents: A. University of California Personnel Policies for Staff Members (PPSM) 70 − Complaint Resolution (non -represented staff) B. University of California and CX Agreement, Article 7 – Grievance Procedure (Public Safety Dispatchers and clerical staff) C. University of California and AFSCME Agreement, Article 9 – Grievance Procedure (security personnel) D. University of California a nd FUPOA Agreement, Articles 6 and 7 – Grievance and Arbitration Procedures (Police O fficer s only).
