3.8.8 Health Insurance (Issued: 6/25/07)
The University of California provides medical and dental insurance for all eligible personnel
who are, in general, any employee appointed at 50 percent and above (check the applicable
contract or PPSM for more detailed eligibility requirements). Coverage and cost are subject to
the provisions of the applicable labor agreement and total compensation package.
