2.7 Public Information and Community Relations: Public Information
2.7.1 Policy (Revised: 2/22/08)
It is the policy of the University of California and the UCSF Police Department to work through
the UCSF Office of Communications to provide accurate and timely information to the
community and news media. Information is provided in compliance with applica ble laws and
regulations without jeopardizing the rights of crime victims, witnesses, and suspects, breaching
confidential relationship or compromising the security or successful completion of any
investigation.
