A. PURPOSE
The purpose of the general order is to establish the official m ission statement of the Sunny Isles Beach Police
Department.
B. SCOPE
The directive is applicable to all members, both sworn and civi lian, of the department.
C. POLICY
1. The official mission of the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is as follows:
a. “The Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is committed to mainta ining the height of living by providing
extraordinary law enforcement service with an emphasis on profe ssionalism, accountability, and respect.”
2. This mission statement shall be displayed in the public lobby o f the Government Center as well as in areas
within the police department’s headquarters as designated by th e Chief of Police.
3. It shall also be imprinted upon all written directives and offi cial correspondence of the department as directed
by the Chief of Police,
