San Francisco Police Department 1.02 GENERAL ORDER Eff. 07/19/15 DISTRICT BOUNDARIES This order describes the geographical boundaries of police districts in the City and County of San Francisco. I. POLICY The CENTRAL DISTRICT commences at a point on the water north of where Mission St. intersects with The Embarcadero and proceeding west on Mission St. (excluding both sides) to 3'' St.; north on 3rd St. (including both sides) to Market St.; west on Market St. (excluding both sides) to Powell St.; north on Powell St. (including both sides) to Geary St.; west on Geary St. (including both sides) to Larkin St.; north on Larkin St. (including both sides) to Bay St.; west on Bay St. (including both sides) to Van Ness Ave.; north on Van Ness Ave. (including both sides), and continuing north on the Municipal Pier Access Road (including both sides) to a point on the water just west of the Municipal Pier; east and south from a point on the water just west of the Municipal Pier, following the shoreline, to the origin at a point on the water north of where Mission St. intersects with The Embarcadero. The SOUTHERN DISTRICT commences at a point on the water north of where Mission St. intersects with The Embarcadero, west on Mission St. (including both sides, except for any location within the Westfield Mall) to South Van Ness Ave.; north on South Van Ness Ave. (including both sides) to Market St.; west on Market St. (including both sides) to Duboce Ave.; east on Duboce Ave. (excluding both sides) to 13th St.; east on 13 th St. (excluding both sides) to Division St.; east on Division St. (excluding both sides) to Vermont St.; south on Vermont St. (including both sides) to Mariposa St.; east on Mariposa St. (excluding both sides) extending to the water's edge beyond Terry Francois Blvd.; north along the water's edge to the point of origin at the intersection of Mission St. and The Embarcadero. The entire area of Treasure Island and Yerba Buena Island is under the command of Southern Station. The BAY -VIEW DISTRICT commences at a point on the water south of where Mariposa St. intersects with Terry Francois Blvd., proceeding west on Mariposa St. (including both sides); continuing west on an imaginary line from the 2000 block of Mariposa St. crossing Highway 101 to the 2200 block of Mariposa St. to Utah St.; south on Utah St. (including both sides and Fallen Bridge Park) to 1 8'h St.; continuing southeast on an imaginary line to the centerline of Highway 101; south along the centerline of Highway 101 to its intersection with the centerline of Interstate Highway 280; southwest along the midpoint of Interstate 280 to an imaginary line extending north from the intersection of Cambridge St. and West View Ave.; south along that line to Cambridge St. and continuing south on Cambridge St. (including both sides) to the boundary of McLaren Park on the east side of Cambridge St.; east along the McLaren Park boundary, passing between McLaren Park proper and Louis Suffer Playground (including Louis Suffer Playground), to University St.; south on University St. (including both sides) to Mansell St.; east on Mansell St. (including both sides) to its terminus at San DGO 1.02 Eff. 07/19/15 Bruno Ave.; east on an imaginary line from the terminus of Mansell St. at San Bruno Ave. to where it intersects the centerline of Highway 101; south along the centerline of Highway 101 to Bayshore Blvd.; southwest on Bayshore Blvd. (excluding both sides) to the county line; east along the county line to the water; north following the shoreline to the origin point on the water south of where Mariposa St. intersects with Terry Francois Blvd. The MISSION DISTRICT commences at the intersection of Clipper St. and Portola Dr., extending north on Portola Dr. (including both sides) to Market St.; north and northeast on Market St.(including both sides) to Duboce Ave.; east on Duboce Ave. (including both sides) to 13th St.; east on 13th St. (including both sides) to Division St.; east on Division St. (including both sides) to Vermont St.; south on Vermont St. (excluding both sides) to Mariposa St.; west on Mariposa St.; (excluding both sides) continuing west on an imaginary line from the 2000 block of Mariposa St. crossing Highway 101 to the 2200 block of Mariposa St. to Utah St.; south on Utah St. (excluding both sides and Fallen Bridge Park) to 1 8th St., southeast on an imaginary line to the centerline of Highway 101; south along the centerline of Highway 101 to Potrero Ave.; northwest on Potrero Ave. (including both sides) to Cesar Chavez St.; west on Cesar Chavez St. or its extension (including both sides) to Douglass St.; south on Douglass St. (including both sides) to Duncan St.; west on Duncan St. (including both sides) to Diamond Heights Blvd.;
