“Generation 1” Glock Performance Triggers No Longer

This departmental memorandum expires upon publication of a revision of General Order 580.04 (Firearms),
revised on 01 -10-2023.
Effective immediately, “Generation 1” Glock Performance Triggers shall no longer be authorized to carry during
any on -duty assignment. This includes regular working hours, overtime, off -duty work -related assignments, or
emergencies when specifically required by the department.
A. Officers with “Generation 1” Glock Performance Triggers that were previously installed by the
department armorer may have them replaced with one of the following:
a. Their stock Glock trigger.
b. A department -provided “Generation 2” Glock Performance Trigger.
Contact the department armorer to coordinate replacement.
B. Officers with “Generation 1” Glock Performance Triggers not installed by the department armorer shall
advise their supervisor and contact the department armorer as soon as possible.
C. Officers unsure of the “Generation” of their Glock Performance Trigger shall contact the department
armorer as soon as possible.
