Departmental Memorandum Volume 24-15 To: All Sworn Katherine Lester , Chief of Police From : A/Captain Neil Cybulski, Research, Development, and Training Division Approved Firearms 10-18-2024 This departmental memorandum expires upon publication of an updated revision of General Order 580.04 (Firearms), revised on 01-10-2023. Any Sacramento Police Department officer utilizing any variant of the Sig Sauer P320 shall no longer be authorized to carry it during any on -duty assignment. This includes regular working hours, overtime, or off-duty work -related assignments or emergencies when specifically required by the department. The Research and Development/Training Division is actively working t o contact, equip, and train officers that have previously notified the armorer of their use of the Sig Sauer P320.
