Property Bureau Page 1 of 1 50/06.0 (REV 9/99) EMPLOYEE TIME SHEET The purpose of this order is to p rovide instructions for comple ting the employee time sheet. I. Policy It is the responsibility of each employee to maintain up-to-dat e records on his/her time sheet to submit the properly completed time sheet, absence request forms, and overtime forms to the supervisor at the designated time. A. An employee not submitting a properly completed time sheet w ill be required to come in on their ow n time and complete the time she et. Supervisors are not expected to search for and attach needed do cuments, or otherwise complete forms not properly submi tted or filled ou t by virtue of an employee’s carele ssness or negligence. B. An employee who is unable to properly fill out their time sh eets as a result of time off due to sick leave, vac ation, or an unexpected and e xcused absence may not have had an opport unity to comply. Under these circumstances, the supervisor will be responsible for submittin g the employee’s completed time sheet. C. Each employee will ensure t hat their employee PIN and the ap plicable pay period are on all personnel forms. D. When it is necessary to make changes to a time sheet that ha s already been submitted, it is the respons ibility of the employee to com plete the appropriate paperwork (overtime or absence request form and discrepancy form, if needed), and s ubmit it to the supervisor. E. The supervisor will verify, s ign, and submit the timesheets for processing.
