Correctional Services MJ/RCCC Page 1 of 1 4/15 (New 8/16) Petition or Revocation of PRCS or Parole The purpose of this Order is to o utline the process for housing inmates supervised under PRCS and Parole w ho are being held in custody pending rev ocation proceedings. I. Policy Statement Due to an Orange County Appeals Court order from January 2015, it has become necessary for the Court to set an arraignment hearing for all P etitions for Revocation of PRCS. The Court currently hears a ll Petitions for Revocation o f Parole. In order to accommodate early resolutions and arraignments of these matters , it is necessary to house this classification of inm ate at the Main Jail until such time as the petition has been fully adjudicated. II. Housing of Inmates during Re vocation Proceedings of Parole or PRCS A. Once a Petition for Revocati on has been filed with the Court , Main Jail and RCCC will receive a copy of the f iling from Probation via email to mjcourtdesk@sacsheriff.com or rccccourtdesk@sacsheriff.com . 1. If the inmate is at the Main Jail, a notati on will be made o n the Release line of the PF4 screen stating “house at MJ pending revocation disposition”. The in mate will remain housed at the Main Jail pending a disposition from the Court. 2. If the inmate is at RCCC, a notation will be made on the Rel ease line of the PF4 screen stating “house at MJ pending revocation disposition”. The inmate will al so be schedule for an inter-fa cility transfer (FATRN) to the Main Jail for the following day, pendin g a disposition from the Court. 3. Once the inmate has been fully adjudicated, housing will be at the discretion of Classification pur suant to Operations Order 6/03 - Classification Process. 4.
