Civil Bureau Page 1 of 1 2/01 (Rev 3/17) Civil Bureau – Employee Processing The purpose of this Operations Or der is to establish procedures for the processing of employees transferring into or out of the Civil Bureau I. Responsibility A. It shall be the responsibility of the employee’s immediate s upervisor to furnish the employee with the Bureau Employee Handbook and ensu re all required cards and item s are issued. It shall also be the resp onsibility of the employee’s immediate supervi sor to ensure all the necessary forms and issued items are returned wh en an employee permanently leav es the Bureau. B. Specific responsibilities and ti me-lines are outlined in the Civil Bureau “New Employee Checklist” and “N ew Employee Setup and Departure” documents. II. Handbook A. New employees to the Civil Bureau shall be furnished a curre nt copy of the Bureau Employee Handbook. 1. The handbook shall contain info rmation which is necessary fo r the new employee to know about the Bu reau, safety, and the facility . 2. The handbook will be updated by the Bureau Administrative Services Officer as needed.
