Identification Bureau Activity Report
The purpose of this Order is to e xplain the information that is to be included in each
category of the Identif ication Bureau Monthly Activity Report, and where this information
is obtained. I. At the beginning of each month the Identification Bureau Sup ervisor shall obtain
and compile all statistical info rmation from the previous month ’s activity within the
Bureau.
II. The statistical information will come from the C.S.I. Unit, Forensic Identification
Unit, Livescan Unit, Video Specia lties Unit, Counter Drug Procu rement Program
and Identification Evid ence Processing Lab.
III. The information will be comp iled the first week of each mo nth, and shall be
entered into the Identificati on Bureau Activity Report. The Re port will be
forwarded to the Forensic and Re cords Division Commander. A co py shall be
retained by the Ident ification Bureau.
IV. Activities to be listed will be all the activities performe d by the Identification
Bureau. They include:
A. Forensic Identification Unit Activities
1. Manual latent comparisons/Number of suspect(s) 2. Identifications from manual comparisons 3. CAL-ID entries 4. Identifications fr om CAL-ID entries
5. Follow-up field assignments/ Number of hours including MCP
6. Inked print comparisons/ Number of identifications
7. Public relations photogr aphy assignments/Number of hours
8. Injury photographs
