Detective Division Page 1 of 1 6/02.0 (REV 1/90) DEPARTMENTAL VEHICLES The purpose of this order is to establish responsibilities of D etective Division personnel for the repair, maintenance, and use of departmental vehicles. I. General A. All departmental vehicles assi gned to the Detective Division shall be designated by the commander for specific assignment to bureaus. B. Vehicles assigned to a bureau shall be the responsibility of that bureau commander for repair and maintenance. C. Cleanliness, maintenance, and notification of repair needs o f a vehicle shall be the responsibility of t he detective operating the vehi cle on the day the vehicle requires such servi ce. The detective shall submit t he vehicle repair slip and advise the bur eau commander that the vehicle is scheduled for repairs.
