AIRPORT DIVISION
The purpose of this order is to d efine the policy for dispatchi ng Airport Division units to
calls on and off Airport property. I. Off Airport Property
A. Sacramento International Air port units are not to be used fo r cover or
assigned to routine calls outsi de Airport property. If there ar e no other
patrol units available, Airport units may be used to respond to extreme
critical response calls in their vicinity.
B. If another patrol unit clear s for assignment, it should be d ispatched to
relieve the Airport unit immediately.
II. On Airport Property
A. All calls that occur on Air port property shall be directly t ransferred to
Airport Fire Dispatch. Airport Fir e Dispatch is located on-site and is in
constant communication with depu ties assigned to the Airport.
