Training Page 1 of 2 5/04.0 (REV 3/91) AUDIO-VISUAL AIDS The purpose of this order is to d escribe the procedure for issu ance and inventory of audio-visual aids which is the re sponsibility of academy staff. I. Issuance A. Films, videotapes, slides, and filmstrips: 1. Films, videotapes, slides, and filmstrips are maintained in a cabinet in the academy office building. 2. Upon request, these audio-visu al aids will be issued to depa rtment personnel. 3. A check-out sheet is maintain ed in the cabinet storing the a udio- visual aids. With each issuance the following information shall be recorded: a. The individual to whom the equipment is issued. b. The item(s) of equipment issued. c. The date issued. d. The date returned. B. Movies, slides, overhead projectors, etc. 1. Movie and slide projectors are maintained by academy staff. 2. A log book is maintained detai ling each issuance. The follow ing information shall be recorded a. The individual to whom the equipment is issued. b. The item(s) of equipment issued. c. The date issued. d. The date returned. Training Page 2 of 2 5/04.0 (REV 3/91) 3. Issuance of miscellaneous items ; e.g., extension cords, proj ector take-up reels, etc., will be l ogged in accordance with the aforementioned procedure. II. Inventory of Films, Videot apes, Slides, and Filmstrips A. An inventory shall be mainta ined of all films, videotapes, s lides, and filmstrips currently in the po ssession of the division of Train ing and Reserve Forces. B. New additions to t he film library shall be recorded in the f ilm inventory.
