Training Page 1 of 2 5/03.0 (REV 3/91) ROLE PLAYING EXERCISES The purpose of this order is to o utline procedures to be follow ed during all role-playing exercises. I. Instructor Responsibilities Instructors are responsible for submitting written copies of ex ercises prior to their delivery. Each exercise shall include: A. POST objective me t or desired result. B. How many role-players are needed. C. What equipment is needed. D. Detailed instructi ons to role-players: 1. Safety precautions. 2. Precautions not to stray fr om the role and place students in “no win” situations. 3. State the purpose of the exercise. 4. Time frame allowed. 5. Any other circumstances deem ed appropriate by the instructor . E. Coordinate with training staf f, at least one week prior to t he exercise, the equipment and the number of role-players needed. F. When possible, the instructor shall conduct role-playing sit uations out of the view of the general student population. G. The instructor shall eval uate each student against the desir ed result and monitor role-playing during each scenario.
